Before posting please take a minute to familiarize yourself with the simple rules below: THE RULES OF THE STUDIOLO General Posting Etiquette Keep posts civil and polite. Members are expected to treat other members with respect and courtesy at all times. Rudeness is unspeakably ugly to the Studiolo. Keep all posts clear and concise so that they can be easily understood by all readers. Flaming & Flame-Baiting Ridiculing or otherwise insulting a post or member with the intent to start an online fight will not be tolerated. Bigotry Posts containing derogatory comments at any person group based on their race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, etc. are not allowed. Differences are tolerated, hate is not. Relevance Each of the boards at the Studiolo is dedicated to a particular topic of discussion. Using the descriptions provided for each of the boards, select the board most relevant to your topic when posting. Advertising Advertising or soliciting of products is not allowed. However, members can direct other members to the sale of Hannibal-related items at sites such as www.amazon.com or www.ebay.com. Members are also free to post about their own Hannibal fan-sites. Spam Spam will not be tolerated at The Studiolo. Spamming posts will be systematically deleted by the forum moderators or administrators. Any member engaging in spam activities might see his or her membership terminated without prior notice, at the sole discretion of any of the administrators. Offensive Language and Material Obscene and profane language is to be kept to a minimum. Excessive and unnecessary profanity is expressly forbidden. Posting of obscene, illegal or otherwise offensive material may result in an immediate termination of membership, at the sole discretion of the forum administrators. Cross-posting Do not post multiple copies of the same post in various boards. Select the board most relevant and only post there. Useless Posting Think before you post. Only reply to a post if you have something to add. Do not answer questions with complete guesses. Try to add something to the discussion. If it is thought that you are posting merely to increase you post count, your post count will be reset to zero. Multiple Usernames No user should register more than one username for any reason. Impersonating other people either by implication or using multiple usernames is not tolerated and subject to immediate administrative action. Forum Maintenance For maintenance, performance, and space reasons the Studiolo administrators reserve the right to delete posts and close the site for brief service intervals. Failure to adhere to the above posting guidelines can result in a warning, the suspension of a user’s membership or permanent banishment from the Studiolo. The course of action taken is at the discretion of the staff of the Studiolo. Unless specified otherwise in the above rules, members will be banned only with a unanimous decision by all the administrators.
